The RD Practice Command Center — Notion Template for Dietitians
Everything that runs a nutrition practice, in one Notion workspace. Clients, sessions, money, content and credentials, all linked together, with a dashboard that tells you who you owe something to this week.
If your practice currently lives across a notes app, a spreadsheet, a calendar and your memory, this is the thing that holds it together. Six databases that talk to each other, so opening a client shows you her whole session history and everything she has paid without you ever typing it twice.
What is inside
Six linked databases:
- Clients — status, package, primary goal, next action, follow-up date, referral source, and the state the client is physically in, because that is what your licensure follows. Session count, last session date, revenue and package progress all calculate themselves.
- Sessions — what you covered, what happens next, and a follow-up checkbox that puts a session on your dashboard and keeps it there until you clear it.
- Income — invoiced, paid, overdue, with a tax holdback column you set to your own rate.
- Content — a planner with somewhere to keep the citation behind each claim, so you are not hunting for the paper six months later.
- Resource Library — your handouts and worksheets with a last-reviewed date on every one, so nothing goes out three guideline revisions out of date.
- Credentials and CEUs — license, registration, liability insurance, CEUs earned, and a live countdown to every renewal.
Then a dashboard built on top of all of it: what is coming up, who is owed a follow-up, who is currently live, what money has not landed, where your income actually comes from as a chart, what content is on deck, what expires next, and a calendar of your month.
How it works
You get a link to the template. Click Duplicate and a full copy lands in your own Notion, yours to change however you like. It works on the free Notion plan and on the mobile app, so logging a session from your car between visits takes about twenty seconds.
It arrives filled with a demo practice, six fake clients with real-looking histories, so you can see how the pieces connect before you put anything of your own in. Clear it out whenever you are ready.
Unbranded on purpose
There is no practice name, no logo and no color scheme to fight with. Put your own name on it, change what does not match how you work, delete what you do not need. Setup takes about ten minutes and there is a written walkthrough at the top of the page.
One honest note
Notion is a general-purpose workspace, not a clinical record system, and a personal plan does not come with a business associate agreement. This is built as your practice-management layer — goals, next steps, packages, scheduling, money — not as your chart. Keep protected health information wherever you already keep it legally.
Built by a registered dietitian who needed it first.
